AMS-500A Solar Grain Bubble Dryer
Grain Bubble Dryer is a tunnel-type dryer designed to dry agricultural commodities while protecting them against sudden rains and unpredictable weather.
The Solar Bubble Dryer is a collapsible, tunnel-type dryer with designed to protect the agricultural commodity from intermittent/sudden rains during drying, and to prevent spillage and contamination. Drying performance is dependent on the solar radiation, relative humidity of the ambient air, and moisture content of concerned agricultural commodity. It consist of a transparent cover made of UV-resistant polyethylene film connected to the black reinforced PVC drying floor by a heavy-duty zipper.
Using heated air, the commodities’ moisture content is vaporized and pushed out by ventilators through an exhaust port.Using this solution, commodities can be dried at an average rate of 0.5% moisture content per hour (based on paddy and corn). However, with optimal conditions of high atmospheric temperatures, drying time is about 6 to 8 hours at the moisture content of 22% to 14%.
The Grain Bubble Dryer comes in two different model types: (A) a solar model, operating solely through renewable solar energy, and (B) an electric model that uses electric power from the grid. Both model types provide a rake mixer that can be used in all terrain and a tube mixer (optional mixing device) which provides undulating motion during the mixing operation.
Drying floor
The drying floor is made of reinforced black pvc, with a heavy duty zipper that works on creating a heating room with the top cover)610gsm).
The dimensions of the drying floor for a capacity of 500kg per batch is approximately 15*2m(0.5mm thickness)
There are six support loops (3 on each side) along the length of the drying floor used to prevent the SBD from blowing away by strong winds.
Two sand bags are used to support the drying floor from flying away (an extra meter is added to the length of the drying floor to fold over the sand bags)
Top cover
Top cover made of UV-LDPE ,transparent, the sun light comes through the transparent top cover to dry the grains (0.15mm thickness) .
Exhaust port
The exhaust port works on letting out the steam and water vapor caused by the moisture leaving the grain.
The exhaust port is about 60 to 80 cm long.
Assemble the exhaust support frame using bolts and winged nut sand Connect to exhaust port with the pockets provided.
Ventilators with frames
There are two ventilator units of DC ventilators each contain the following: (ventilator, ventilator cover, ventilator support clam, horizontal brace)
The ventilator’s diameter is approximately 30cm with an aluminum frame
Solar panels with frames with a solar change controller
he solar panel work to store the sunlight throughout the day and transfer it to energy that is stored in the battery which helps run the dryer when it’s night time.
It consists of:
a. solar panel (minimum 200w)
b.bracket (2 units)
c.Legs (2 units)
d.Horizontal brace (1 piece)
e.Bolts and winged nuts (16 pairs) solar change controller containing (charge indicator, battery indicator ,load indicator, waterproof key-press, mode indicator, temperature sensor, connection leads)with all the required accessories needed to operate the system.
*the frame dimensions are made according to the needed dimensions of the solar panels.
Deep cycle solar battery
The required battery will be a AGM Battery type (12V, 70 Ampere-hour)
Tube mixer
Designed to provide vertical oscillating motion to mix the commodity inside the bubble. it’s made of a rounded metal pipe with a wheel on each side , the tube mixer is about 2.5 to 3m long and is placed underneath the drying floor and used to mix the grains when drying.
The diameter of the tube is about 5cm.
It is moved by two robes one on each side of the tube.
Carry bag
Used to store the drying floor and top cover.
Repair tape
PE repair tape, UV resistant and transparent- for repair/ patching of the top cover,
PVC duct tape, Grey- for the drying floor.
Each repair tape is at least 2m long

A full and clear manufacturer’s warranty statement transferable with the ownership of the equipment.The minimum is for a twelve months warranty period.
