AMS-150 SOLAR VANILLA DRYER
AMS-150 Solar Chimney Dryer is for heating and dehydrating fresh foods like fruit vegetables, fish,meat etc, using solar as the heat source. After the air in the solar collector is heated, the hot air goes upwards. There is an air inlet at the lower part of the collector. When air in the collector is heated and, it goes upwards, creating a negative pressure inside the collector,and the fresh air outside the heat collector will be inhaled into the collector. The top outlet of the solar collector is connected to the drying cabinet (box). When the hot air goes upwards, it directly enters the drying box and get in contact with the moist material, the moisture in the material gradually evaporates, and the water vapor is automatically discharged upwards through the chimney.
The drying cabinet is made of black solid sunshine PC sheet and plywood .It’s canopy roof is made of PC sheet ,the trays are made of stainless steel frame, Stainless steel mesh, and Plywood,Loading Doors are well Insulated ,the whole cabinet is durable Metallic frame, well painted in black colour,proper dust proof, insect proof and waterproof construction for hygiene,drying of all types of farm produce.
For the solar collector , it’s top cover made of UV-proof Acrylic Sheet, 2.5 – 3.5 mm,the absorber is Aluminum plate (Approx. 1mm thick) painted in Matt black,it’s insulator is by Polystyrene plate with Styrofoam, the air Inlet is at the lower end of the collector and air outlet is at the upper end of the collected and connected to the cabinet.Solar collector set inclination is 20-30 degrees from the horizontal. When the inlet air is heating by solar collector, it will go upwards and into the cabinet ,then will create a negative air pressure to let more fresh air in, more air in and more air is heated into the cabinet to dry the material inside ,and water vapor is automatically discharged upwards through the chimney.
